It's about time I updated my little boys page! He is 4 now and getting bigger by the day. He is very book smart. He is a very sensitive little boy and has become quite an obedient child. I am very excited and suprised by this but very thankful. He amazes me daily. After having 3 girls I can say with confidence that boys are VERY different. He loves sports and is about to start soccer. He is very interested in outer space and can name all the planets and tell you a little something about them. He has recently shown an interest in rockets. This is something that he has been pursing since he was 3 so it's kinda an ongoing thing at our house. For the last year and a half it's been space books and the NASA website which I think is really cool. He is also getting into building things so Mike recently bought him a hammer, some nails, and some wood and let him go to it. He bored with it quickly but is still interested in knowing how things are built. I don't know what that means exactly except to guess that maybe he doesn't like to do the manual labor part! He likes to play sword fight, dress up (In boy costumes of course), and run around. He is not really into cars or buzz lightyear anymore. He is changing and growing into his own little person everyday and it's awesome to watch!
A Prayer for My Reid
Thank you Lord for Reid. Thank you for his strength, kind and obedient spirit, and loving heart. Thank you for giving him a strong sense of self and a determination that with your direction will allow him to accomplish your purpose. Help him to continue learning positive channeling of his energy and to use this and all his gifts to your glory so that he may understand and do your will. May he feel my love around him always. Amen.
